Binaries

QGIS plugin setup

Use AETHER directly within QGIS. The plugin provides a graphical interface for configuring simulations and visualizes results as raster layers in your QGIS project.

01 · Install plugin
In QGIS, go to Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins. Search for AETHER and click Install.
02 · Download binaries
Download the correct binary for your platform from the section above. Extract the archive to a permanent location on your machine.
03 · Set binary path
In QGIS, navigate to Settings → AETHER → Set binary path and point it to the extracted aether executable.
04 · Register API key
The plugin requires a free API key for cloud features. Register for a free account and copy your API key from the Settings page into the plugin configuration.
